Darcey Bussell Wants To Join In On Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing judge and former ballet dancer Darcey Andrea Bussell has admitted she can’t help but want to join in while sat on the Strictly judging panel, saying she’s itching to get on the dance floor.

Perhaps she’s now wishing she’d joined the BBC show as a contestant rather than a judge, but that really wouldn’t have been too fair on her competitors.

Speaking at the Cheltenham Literature Festival the ex ballerina said she’d always been a great fan of dancing as it makes her feel totally different, even if it’s just around the kitchen.

The 43 year old has also experienced success in the world of literature having written a six book children’s series called The Magic Ballerina.

The retired Royal Ballet dancer replaced former judge Alesha Dixon for this years Strictly series after previously appearing as a guest judge in 2009.
