Ella Henderson Singing Believe at the NTA’s 2013 – Plus Video

Teenage singing sensation Ella Henderson will sing her popular version of the Cher song, ‘Believe’ live at the 2013 National Television Awards (NTA’s) on ITV, Wednesday night.

It seems for Ella, justice is now being done. From the moment the then 16 year old first sang her unique version of Believe during X Factors Boot Camp it was clear to most viewers she was destined to win.

However for one reason or another that wasn’t to be. Be it due to questionable mentoring or song choices that were perhaps trying to be too clever or most likely, fans thinking should would win without their vote. Ella went out despite far inferior vocalists remaining.

Well it appears among all those disappointed viewers sat at home who believed Ella should have won was a certain Simon Cowell.

Traditionally it’s the X Factor winner who then performs at the NTA’s with the likes of Little Mix and Matt Cardle having done so in previous shows. But forget the reigning X Factor champ James Arthur, Mr Cowell knows who the country really wants to see.

The pop guru has now signed up Ella Henderson to a record deal and is clearly giving the singer, songwriter the big push.

No doubt Cowell see’s Ella as a potential star worldwide, not just in the UK, this may be the difference between her and winner, James Arthur in his eyes.

Ella’s new record label, Sony Music have recently set her up with Emeli Sande and Ed White who co-wrote Chasing Pavements for Adele, to work on songs for Ella’s debut album.

So it’s clear Simon is keen to give the 17 year old the best possible chance for global success and the National Television Awards looks set to be the first step.

It’s currently unclear whether or not Believe will be on the album or perhaps even Ella’s debut single.

If things go well who knows, perhaps the NTA’s could be Miss Henderson’s equivalent of Adele’s legendary performance at the Brit Awards.
