How many F1 Championships has Vettel won?

Question: How many F1 drivers championships has Sebastian Vettel won so far?

Answer: Prior to the start of the 2013 Formula One season, German driver Sebastian Vettel has won 3 world titles.

Not only has he won 3 championships but the Red Bull driver won them over 3 consecutive seasons: 2010, 2011 and 2012.

In doing so, at the age of 25 Vettel became the youngest triple world champion in F1 history beating the previous record of 31 which was set by Ayrton Senna in 1991.

Despite the Germans huge success, with such drivers as Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton also in Formula One it’s still debatable if Vettel has ever been the best.

Many F1 experts believe Sebastian’s 3 titles are in large part due to the Red Bull being by far the best car on the grid.

With potentially many years still ahead of him in the sport though, it’s hard not to see Vettel adding more drivers championships to the list in the future.
