What year did the Titanic ship sink?

RMS Titanic which was famously billed as the ‘Unsinkable Ship’ sank on April 15, 1912 in the Northern Atlantic Ocean.

The luxury passenger liner which was built in Belfast, Ireland left the British port of Southampton on April 10, 1912 on it’s maiden voyage bound for New York City, USA.

However the Titanic was never to reach it’s destination, colliding with an iceberg at 11:40pm (ships time) and sinking 2 hours and 40 minutes later.
