Norwegian Family Win Lottery Three Times

Norwegian teenager Tord Oksnes recent hit the jackpot by winning 12.2 million kroner (about 2.1m USD  or 1.3m GBP) in Norway’s national lottery. So what you might say but this isn’t the first time his family has experienced a big windfall.

Tord’s family have in fact won the Norwegian national lottery twice before. In 2010 his sister Hege struck it lucky by winning over  8 million kroner and four years previous to that his father cashed over 4 million.

Interestingly each time one of the family members netted a big win Hege was either currently pregnant or had recently given birth. No doubt if Hege conceives again all the family will be straight out to pick up their tickets.

Well they do say good things come in three’s, meanwhile the rest of us would be delighted with just the one win.
