In the last episode of Stargazing Live in 2013 the team will be taking a look at something our solar system is filled with, asteroids, meteors and comets.
Dara O’Briain and Brian Cox will be discussing how from the study of these mysterious objects, scientists are able to learn more about the origins of life itself.
On her final day with NASA, Liz Bonnin visits the people who have perhaps one of the most important jobs in the world, finding and tracking any objects in space that could potentially collide with Earth.
Oh and for any of you who took part in the NASA Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter experiment where viewers were given the chance to scan uncharted areas of the Martian surface, tonight’s episode will see the results revealed.
Stargazing Live airs at 8:00pm on BBC 2 and BBC HD in the UK. As always the main show will be followed by further discussions on Stargazing Live: Back to Earth.
