Pete Waterman’s Hit Factory Live O2 Concert Set for December

This year eighties pop mogul Pete Waterman is celebrating 25 years of PWL records and to mark the anniversary he’s having a party.

The Hit Factory Live concert was originally planned to take place this summer in Hyde Park, London. However the charity concert was postponed due to poor weather prospects. It’s now been announced the pop gig will happen on December 21st, 2012 at London’s O2.

The former Pop Idol judges line-up is set to include some of the biggest artists from the Stock Aitken and Waterman days including Bananarama, Rick Astley, Sinitta and Steps.

Although not yet confirmed, other possible acts are rumored to include Jason Donovan, Pepsi and Shirlie, Brother Beyond, Sonia, Dead or Alive, 2 Unlimited, Hazell Dean and Princess.

By the way for any of you younger readers who have no idea who Pete Waterman is, he’s basically the 1980’s version of Simon Cowell.
