Sir Chris Hoy to Lead Team GB

Olympic Team GB will be led out by flag bearer Sir Chris Hoy for the London 2012 games opening ceremony.

Hoy is already an Olympic gold medalist four times over, he took three golds in Beijing winning his titles  in various cycling events.

After hearing the good news Hoy said he was “delighted and honored  after receiving the most votes among fellow Team GB members who got to decide who would take on the role.

Sir Chris Hoy is the most successful Olympic cyclist in British history and will be looking to add to his four gold medals at the 2012 games in the keirin and team sprint events.
