After growing up in Oklahoma, Blake moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 17 in order to further his music career.

Together with his wife and fellow country star Miranda Lambert, Shelton now lives on his ranch in Tishomingo, Johnston County, Oklahoma.

As well as singing, Blake is also famous in the US for being one of the original and current coaches on the NBC talent show ‘The Voice’, now in it’s fourth season.
