Where are the group Mumford and Sons from?

The four-piece folk rock band Mumford & Sons are from originally London, England.

However Marcus Mumford whom the band is named after was in fact born in Anaheim, California, USA on January 31, 1987.

He didn’t live there long though as his British parents moved back to the UK 6 months after his birth.

The band which formed in 2007, is made up of Marcus Mumford who is the lead singer, Ted Dwane, Winston Marshall, and Ben Lovett.

In addition to providing vocals, each member of the band also plays a variety of different musical instruments.

In 2013, their record ‘Babel’ won the Grammy for Album of the Year.
