Answer: The male vocals on Rihanna’s ‘Stay’ are performed by US singer, songwriter and producer Mikky Ekko, real name John Sudduth.

In addition to singing on the track, Ekko also co-produced and co-wrote Stay. Mikky is currently working out of country music capital Nashville, Tennessee.

Although Ekko previously recorded his own material including the 2009 album ‘Strange Fruit’, his collaboration with R&B superstar Rihanna has given the 27 year old his first taste of chart success.
