6.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Mexico

An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale has struck Mexico close to the Baja peninsula.

According to the US Geological Survey the earthquakes epicenter was located approximately 75 kilometers or 47 miles north of La Paz.

There are currently no immediate injuries or structural damages being reported.

Baja is located on the east coast of the peninsular and is the capital city of the Baja California Sur, Mexican state.
