The X Factor wild card vote has been won by Chris Maloney. The popular Liverpool Singer predictable won the public wild card vote which now gives him a full place in the live X Factor finals bringing the total number of finalists to 13.

The announcement was made at the beginning of tonight’s first X factor live finals show.

Christoper originally wowed viewers his incredibly emotional and powerful rendition of the Bette Midler classic, The Rose.

Despite shaking with nerves before and after the song Chris was transformed into a different person while he sang. The 34 year old was rewarded with a standing ovation from the live audience.
