Soon to reform girl group Girls Aloud have had their new single Something New premiered earlier than intended on radio station Capital FM.

The girls record company took the decision to air the single early due to the track being leaked on YouTube yesterday:

Something New is expected by many to be the 2012 BBC Children In Need charity single and would therefore be due for release sometime in November.

The new single marks the return for Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts as a group. Cheryl is currently performing on her solo UK tour and receiving great reviews as she goes while Kimberly is taking part in this years series of Strictly Come Dancing.

At this time it’s currently unsure whether the single will be a one off or if there’s a complete new album and tour to follow.
