In the hope of getting viewer ratings off to a strong start, the new season is scheduled to premiere on NBC directly after 2014 Winter Olympics closing ceremony.
After the changes for the fifth series, the season 6 coaches line-up is expected to be the same as season 4 with Adam Levine, Usher, Shakira and Blake Shelton all returning to the show.
