Question: When does the 2013 season of MotoGP start?

Answer: The 2013 season of MotoGP motorcycle racing will begin with the Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar on Sunday, April 7th.

Free practice sessions for the season opener will take place from Thursday the 4th including sessions for MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3.

The Qatar Grand Prix which takes place at the Losail International Circuit is in fact a night race with lights going green at 22:00 local time.

The 5.38 km track which includes a 1 km+ start finish straight will be illuminated by artificial lighting making it one of the most visually impressive races on the calendar.

The complete 2013 MotoGP season will include 18 race weekends, finishing on November 10th in Valencia, Spain.
