Question: When is the date for the London Marathon 2014?

Answer: The 2014 Virgin Money London Marathon will be taking place on Sunday the 13th of April, 2014.

As always the event will be run over the 26.2 mile course in the city of London, UK.

The potential allocation of entries for the race filled amazingly fast with the ballot closing only 11 and a half hours after opening. During this time around 125,000 entry requests were received.

The 2013 Marathon saw around 35,000 people take part meaning the majority of applications will unfortunately be unsuccessful. Hopefuls will have to wait until October to discover whether or not their requests have been accepted.
