Who sings the song Freedom?

Question: Who sings the 2015 song Freedom?

Answer: With its official music video uploaded to YouTube on July 22, 2015, the song ‘Freedom’ is sung by American record producer, rapper and singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams.

The track itself was released on June 30 to coincide with the launch of streaming service Apple Music, where Freedom was exclusively available at the time. To give fans a taster and help increase publicity, the song was premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show.

In addition to performing the track during his 2015 tour, Pharrell also sang Freedom at this years Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England.

Though first brought out as an exclusive for the new Apple Music service, the single is now available to download and keep from iTunes and Amazon.

When he’s not busy recording or performing his latest piece of music, Pharrell also finds time to appear as a coach on NBC’s talent show The Voice. Having already starred in season 7 and led season 8 champ Sawyer Fredericks to victory earlier this year, the 42-year-old hit machine has already been confirmed for a season 9 return in the Fall of 2015.
