Who won the 2012 series of Dancing on Ice?

In 2012 the winner of the ITV show Dancing on Ice was actor Matthew Wolfenden who plays David Metcalfe in the soap-opera ‘Emmerdale’.

Matthew won series seven of the celebrity ice skating show while partnered with professional Russian skater Nina Ulanova.

The Emmerdale star was one of the favorites before even taking to the ice, having been a competitive gymnast before injuring his back at the age of 16.

In the 2012 Dancing on Ice final Wolfenden went up against fellow soap star, actress Jorgie Porter from Hollyoaks. Former X-Factor singer Chico finished the series in third.
