Who will be hosting the 2013 Oscars?

The host of the 85th Academy Awards ceremony will be the multi-talented actor, writer, singer and animator, Seth MacFarlane.

The 39 year old who has done just about every job there is in the world of entertainment is best known as the creator of the cartoon series ‘Family Guy’.

As well as creating the show, MacFarlane also served as an animator, writer, voice actor and executive producer on Family Guy.

The Connecticut native was also a co-creator on ‘American Dad’, creator of ‘The Cleveland Show’, director on the comedy movie ‘Ted’ and released the big band/swing album ‘Music Is Better Than Words’.

The 85th Oscars take place on February 24, 2013 being held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
