Why do women get more Mosquitoes bites than men?

The reason females generally get bitten by mosquitoes more than males is due to their levels of estrogen.

Mosquitoes like the smell of estrogen and are therefore attracted by the scent.

This is why when men and women are together in an area inhabited by the insects the women really do suffer more bites.
