As if Ella Henderson wasn’t a big enough favorite to win 2012’s X Factor she’ll now duet with Beyonce Knowles providing she makes the finals according to the Daily Mirror.
In shades of 2008’s X Factor where eventual winner Alexander Burke sang with Beyonce on her hit song Listen, the 16 year old sensation will now also team up with the former Destiny’s Child star.
Signing up such a huge name as Beyonce for her finals duet is a sure sign that X Factor supremo Simon Cowell firstly has faith Ella will make the finals and secondly he wants her to win. No doubt Cowell see’s Ella as a potential world wide star and perhaps the next Leona Lewis.
In the past Simon was quoted as saying he felt Alexanders performance with Beyonce played a huge part in her beating fellow finalists JLS and winning the show.
Not wishing to take any chances the music mogul has once again brought out the big guns to make sure there’s no upsets with Ella.
The signing of Beyonce also doesn’t seem to have been inhibited by the alleged feud between Ella’s mentor Tulisa and Beyonce’s friend Kelly Rowland who was a judge on the last series of the X Factor UK.
The two were reported to have fallen out during last seasons live shows but this appears to have in no way influenced Knowles decision to perform.
In addition to helping Ella Henderson secure the X Factor title, ITV will be hoping the appearance of such world famous acts will give themselves an edge over rivals Strictly.
So far this series the BBC show has been beating the X Factor in the UK ratings war and you can’t imagine that’s sitting too well with Mr Cowell.
The X Factor Grand Final is set to take place in Manchester over the weekend of the 8th and 9th of December 2012.
